On February 3, 2011, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 11-227, violated School Board Policy 5.34(1)(g), Failure to Comply with School Rules, Disobedience and Insubordination.  It is the recommendation of the Superintendent, that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until January 14, 2012.

That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation s specified in Expulsion Case No. 11-227, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2010-2011 academic year, the 2012 summer session, until January 14 of 2011-2012 academic year.
